Our Agile training courses prepare team members for the realities of working on a project where daily stand-ups, burn downs, relative estimation, users stories and much more are the cornerstones of everyday life. The Agile Foundations course assumes no previous working knowledge of Scrum, XP or any other Agile process. The training is intensive and participants collaborate on a series of iterative exercises that represent many of the challenges teams face on real Agile projects. Ample time is also allocated to diagnosing “smells” that indicate problems within a team and we will share hard won advice on how these challenges have been successfully addressed on other projects.

Agile Coaching/ Mentoring
Our coaching/mentoring programs are designed to ensure project teams internalize the knowledge gained from the training classes they’ve attended. Valtech coaches/mentors are expert technicians who are also skilled in transitioning individuals and teams from the learning experience to real-life project work. They join projects with the client and work side by side on the initiatives. This activity provides learning experiences through actual project work in which the client resources develop, mature, and demonstrate their capabilities. Valtech coaches/mentors provide guidance to the project team to insure the team doesn’t revert back to old behavior and helps them adapt their new found skills to their own unique environment.
